← transmission log

Hello from the void

First transmission. If you found this, you either clicked past a solar system, solved a knight puzzle, or came straight here like a sensible person. All three are valid.

I built this site because I kept meeting the same wall: resumes compress people into bullet points, and the parts that actually explain how someone works (the chess habit, the shelf of sci-fi, the fact that they geek out about the Giza-Orion correlation at parties) get thrown away as "not relevant." I think they're the most relevant part. So the portfolio got planets, a rover, and a puzzle, and the resume got locked in a vault behind a knight's tour. You can skip the puzzle. But you won't, will you.

Here's what I'll write about in this log:

  • Building CodePoet: what it's like to be a solo founder building AI code-quality tooling, including the pivots, the tree-sitter rabbit holes, and the moments where users tell you your roadmap is wrong.
  • Product thinking for AI tools: evals, drift, why deterministic beats clever, and what "developer trust" actually costs.
  • Curiosities: golden ratios, ancient astronomy, and whatever else the sun on the homepage is currently holding.

The rover section on the main page says stories are signals we send so nobody has to feel alone. That's the plan for this log too. Say hello back: luv.jain01@gmail.com.
